How it works: Submit a template → Meta reviews it (usually minutes to a few hours) → Once Approved, use it in your campaigns. Provide sample values for all variables ({{1}}, {{2}}) — Meta uses these to review your content. Templates that are vague, promotional without opt-out, or missing samples get rejected.

Lowercase, numbers and underscores only — no spaces. Must be unique to your account.

Category important

Marketing = promotions & offers.
Utility = confirmations & alerts.

Language

Must match the language used in your message content.

Approval tips:
• Be specific — vague templates get rejected
• Always provide sample values for {{1}}, {{2}} etc.
• Marketing templates need footer opt-out
• Don't start or end your body with a variable
• Use Utility (not Marketing) for confirmations & reminders
• Delete rejected templates before resubmitting with a new name
