No. WABlast uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business API — the same technology used by banks and large retailers. The platform is fully compliant with Meta's policies.
Where do messages come from?+
Messages are sent from a dedicated WhatsApp Business number provided by WABlast as part of your plan. This number is registered on the official Meta API and assigned exclusively to your account.
Do my contacts need to save the number first?+
No. With the official Meta Business API, messages are delivered to any valid WhatsApp number without the recipient needing to save the number first.
What are message templates?+
Meta requires all bulk messages to use pre-approved templates. These are message formats you submit to Meta for approval before sending. WABlast helps you create and manage your templates. Once approved, you can personalise them with contact names and other details.
What format does my spreadsheet need to be?+
Any Excel (.xlsx), CSV, or TXT file works. WABlast automatically detects your Name and Cell columns. SA numbers starting with 0 are converted to +27 automatically.
What happens when I use all my messages?+
When your monthly messages are used up, sending is paused until your plan renews. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time to get more messages immediately.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, cancel anytime with no penalties or cancellation fees. Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period.
How do I pay?+
We use PayFast — South Africa's leading payment gateway. Pay by credit card, instant EFT, or regular EFT. All prices are in South African Rand.
